Climate Change Kills California

http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2014/08/140805-yosemite-snowpack-spectrometry-california-drought-science/

California's environment is being greatly affected by the drastic climate change our Earth is undergoing. "75 to 80 percent of the state's water comes from the snowpack in the Sierra Nevada. That's water that serves tens of millions of people, grows about half of the fruits and nuts in the United States, produces hydropower, drives industry, supports recreation, and nourishes wildlife." The amount of water will become scarce, and already has decreased. This generation won't necessarily be heavily impacted by some of these changes, but our posterity will be.

  1. It is interesting to see how much climate change effects the plants and water in California. What can people do to help save California from this drastic change if climate change the food and water in California?
