Soon animals we all know love will become extinct. One example of this would be polar bears becoming extinct because the ice is melting and their homes are dissapearing. If we let this and other things that ruin habitats happen then we will definitely regret it when every animal is gone.
I agree that something needs to done about this. A lot of man made things are destroying our planet and putting animals, and other living things in danger. For example, there is a layer of ozone in our atmosphere that fuels from cars and factories are destroying. Do you know how many animal species become endangered each year because of problems like this?

ReplyDeleteI know that palm oil doesn't affect just tigers. Orangutans in Sumatra and other remote parts of Indonesia are destroying all these animal's habitats by the thousands, as the world's biggest palm oil producers. Also, they cut back the whole forest except a few trees on the riverbanks, thats why you see all these pictures of Indonesia, but the few trees left are masking the palm oil behind it. I wonder if we will find palm oil alternatives or use it less? Either way, it should be restricted somehow.
ReplyDeleteI have always been interested in polar bears and it would be a shame if they went extinct. It is sad that there are so many animals are dying because of things we do like causing global warming. Do you know if polar bears would still be able to survive with less land to live on? (If all of the ice didn't melt)
ReplyDeleteOne interesting thing that I found while reading the article is that most of the animals that are very close to extinction are the animals that people really like. What are we as a society going to do to try to keep the animals alive? I wonder if it will cost a lot of money to do this.
