Earth on fire

We have been hearing about Climate Change our whole life, but do we realize the severity? If we pass the 2 degrees celcius mark, we are headed for distruction. There would be wildfires 8 times the size they are now, much more severe hurricanes, the Artic loosing 30% of its ice, and fresh water availability decline to 20%. We need to stop it now before it stops us. http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/24/opinions/sutter-questions-two-degrees-climate/

  1. This article is cool and informational. Wildfires would become 400%- 800% more likely which would be a big amount. This also relates to Maya's explain everything which is about finding clean water. If the earth did become 2 degrees Celsius warmer then finding clean water would decrease 20% which is too high right now. To help this would be to actually find out what is happening in the atmosphere and what the chances are of stopping global warming and then work from there.

    1. We need to cut back on our waste and preserve our water. Even though this may sound strange but cities and islands are going to be drowning in water many years from now. But as the sea level rises the drinking levels diminish.

  2. Considering how little fresh water we actually have, declining by 20% is scary. Many places are in drought (which includes California). I think aim for one will probably get us to 2, worst case 3. But if we aim for 3, maybe we will get 4 or 5. Hmm, we definitely to do something.
